This letter is to recognize Sharp Homes as an outstanding choice for your home building contractor. I have been in my home for around 18 months and could not possibly be more satisfied. The professionalism and customer commitment from Sharp Homes has been second to none. My home would be considered mid to high end, with excellent attention to details, especially the trim work.
The sub-contractors used by Sharp Homes are long-tenured and delivered outstanding quality and craftsmanship. The woodworking in my house is flawless and sets the tone for the overall rustic atmosphere. All phases of their other sub-contractors proved equally impressive. I absolutely love my home and the entire experience with Sharp Homes.
As with any new home, there were some issues that needed addressing after I took possession of the home. Addressing these issues, above all else, undeniably proved that Sharp Homes is in a class of its own. I had numerous horror stories about getting other home builders in my neighborhood to respond to warranty issues, many of the issues major. With Sharp, there were absolutely no delays or second guessing. All of my issues, no matter the severity, were treated as serious and each one was taken care of promptly to my satisfaction, and no one else’s. Lou, who facilitated all the warranty work, is no doubt, second to none. Her personal knowledge of all the sub-contractors and warranty craftsman had a huge impact on the timely resolutions; she obviously cares a great deal and it shows each time you speak with her.
Ultimately, if building another home, Sharp Homes would be my only consideration. Their process from start to finish leaves nothing to doubt. A decision of this magnitude obviously involves a great deal of research; Sharp Homes should definitely stand alone on the top of your list at the end.

When we decided to build a home, my husband and I did quite a bit of research on the various builders in town and visited many of the new construction areas. What impressed us the most about Sharp homes was the attention to detail and quality the exuded every price-level of home that Sharp builds. It was very evident to us that Sharp takes pride in its products and ensures that their homes are completed to perfection. Having seen all of this, our expectations were quite high when we began building our house. To say that we are 110% satisfied would be understating the experience. The Sharp team worked closely with us to make sure that every aspect of our home was exactly the way we wanted it. When there were changes that needed to be made or aspects that weren’t what we expected, the superintendent we worked with went out of his way to make sure we were happy with the finished product. I purchased a home built by Sharp Homes in June of 2007 and could not be happier with my decision to do so. I built three homes in the past fifteen years and have had varying experiences with local builders but never returned to the same builder for another home, usually due to a lack of follow up following closing. I cannot say the same for Craig Sharp as I would certainly purchase a Sharp built home or have Craig build my next home should the opportunity present itself. His attention to detail, stellar workmanship, prompt and courteous employees, and final product are exemplary and unmatched in my previous home buying experiences.
Having built my last three homes before this purchase, I was very leery of purchasing an existing home due to my preference for certain details not found in most existing homes. I walked through the model that was to become my family’s home probably ten times and kept coming back. I liked what I saw, particularly the upgrades to the interior not found in the other homes I was comparing it to, but it lacked a few minor details I had insisted on in my previous homes. Fortunately, Craig was willing to provide those to me as part of our contract and shortly thereafter the home was mine.
I prefer regular doors to bifolds, cable and phone outlets in every room, heaters in each bathroom, power assisted toilets, tiled bathrooms, concrete slabs under any deck and no walls as you enter the home. Frankly, none of these items are found in homes not custom built but Craig not only agreed to make the changes but did so timely and to my satisfaction. Unlike during the build process on two of my previous three homes, Craig’s foreman was on site through the whole process and readily available to me by phone at all times. I could not have been happier with the process that with other builders would likely have taken months instead of weeks.
The biggest compliment I have for Sharp homes actually arises after the home is complete, closing is finished, and the home is furnished and moved into. Unlike any other builder I have dealt with in the past, Craig has a team of individuals dedicated only to the warranty and follow up process that inevitably arises with any new home. As opposed to unreturned phone calls to the builder or his office, Craig has a staff of employees whose sole purpose is to ensure the satisfaction of his customers and work to see that all follow up calls and warranty details are resolved. My punch list of items needing attention were promptly addressed to my satisfaction in each and every instance. And these concerns were usually addressed in a matter of days as opposed to weeks or months.
I am extremely happy with my home buying experience with Craig Sharp Homes and recommend him highly. And I will not hesitate to contact him if and when the opportunity presents itself to build my next home.
