Sharp Homes’ Goal for 2017

2016 was a goal breaking year for Sharp Homes, and once again we can not express our thanks enough to our amazing homeowners who keep us busy and on our toes! Our dedicated vendors and subcontractors also help to make our goals a reality. Looking forward into 2017, there are a few goals that we have, and hope to share with you along the way as we work to meet or exceed them.
Starting in the office, we would like to continue and offer a wide range of selections and material choices in our Design Center. We know that there are hundreds of decisions to be made by homeowners during the construction process, and aim to make that process easier by offering the opportunity to make those selections in house rather than driving all over Wichita. We hope this will be a comfortable and relaxing experience for our homeowners and save them time.
We will also be evaluating some new software opportunities to help streamline and organize the home building process both for us on the back end, but more importantly our homeowners – providing them 24/7 access to their home, paperwork, selections, and schedules. Having a central location for all of our many conversations between homeowners, superintendents, and subcontractors will be a major benefit to everyone. We will keep you updated as we fully evaluate this opportunity.
In the field, we will continue to strive for better quality and better customer service. Though we do quite well in these areas, there is always room for improvement! Our entire team is always willing to listen and adapt to feedback from our clients and building partners to improve our processes. This upcoming year will also be very exciting in the home building realm as we continue to grow in our existing neighborhoods such as Parkway Villas @ The Waterfront, Shadow Rock, Cornerstone, and Emerald Bay. Traditionally we have done very well in these areas by word of mouth, our great showings in the bi-annual Parade of Homes, and repeat business from existing homeowners. We are also very excited to be a Select Builder for the new Reserve @ Sandcrest development in the Northwest part of Wichita. Just last week we started a couple spec homes and our new model. In preparation for this upcoming neighborhood, we worked to develop several new floor plans that we are anxious to build for you!
Finally, we continue to strive for top quality tradespeople and subcontractors to fulfill our goal of quality, craftsmanship, and customer care into the real world. We are optimistic for another strong year for new homes, which means a strain on the local work force which has been diminished ever since the housing bubble burst. As a preferred builder however, we maintain great relationships with our subcontractors and are often the top priority for their business.
